James Birge

Hi, I'm James. I am a New York City-based college graduate looking to start a career in marketing and production. This is the first time I've ever made a portfolio site, and I look forward to expanding it as my professional career evolves. My contact info and Resume are at the bottom of the page.

Welcome to my portfolio. Here, you can find clips from projects I have worked on in my career thus far.

My Portfolio

I worked on several promotional pieces for "The Last Voyage of the Demeter." This particular clip is taken from a compilation of interviews with the stars of the film. This portion catches up with Javier Potet, a legendary creature actor who was tasked with portraying the legendary monster Dracula in this "Alien" style film about the iconic Vampire.

This is a clip from never-before-seen featurettes that were shot in 2009 as extras for a CD distribution of "Avatar" that were never used. For the special 4 K re-release of the film in 2023 these extras were dug back up, re-edited and added to the new Blue-ray. I was even able to get one of the editors to make my birthday the date of one of the clips.

This was yet another fantastic project for Lightstorm, a remaster of the behind-the-scenes documentary of "Titanic" made for the film's anniversary and the corresponding 4 K resolution re-release of James Cameron's most legendary film.

Finally (for now), I would like to share an independent study I worked on about the electrfication of the 3 most important Italian supercar brands. This project was one that I worked on for a month in Florence and I had the pleasure of visiting the sites of all 3 companies to gather more information about what made them who they are. This is a project I am very proud of and will forever be thankful that I was given the opportunity to do something like this with a topic I hold so dearly. I really enjoy doing deep dives into brands and to do deep dives into 3 separate brands I hold in such high regard was an amazing experience.
